swallowtail on geranium
I'm pleased to see an increase of swallowtail butterlies in my gardens each year. This one visited my geraniums and lingered long enough for me to take a long, close look (and many photographs.) This original artwork is hand-painted in the serti method using water-based silk dyes on silk satin, 10 x 12 1/2 inches and naturally steam-set. Unframed.
