macroscape: arctic tundra
"Arctic Tundra" is one of three over-sized, glass microscope slides entitled "Macroscape Slides." Abstracted glass imagery in each of the three artworks depicts a unique area of Alaska where life science is studied. The three areas are Streambed, Arctic Tundra, and Sea Ice.
This public artwork was commissioned in 2013 and is not for sale, as it belongs to the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. See more photos of this project.
