Viola Sororia is cleistogamic. It boasts beautiful, infertile blossoms on graceful stems while its unimpressive, fertile "blossoms" are hidden beneath the leaves. It is perhaps the only species in the entire plant kingdom that reproduces this way.
Duotone offset prints on archival felt paper, in limited edition of 90, from an original graphite drawing on white Arches cotton cover.
