young firs at trail

This original watercolor was painted Monday, March 19, 2018 on Arches Cotton. These firs grow along a trail I walk almost daily where the light is always changing. I like the moody sky, the distant bluish-purple hills, the many soft edges, and the warm, late summer colors in this painting. Painted image area is 6 x 9 inches. The paper with two deckled and two hand-torn edges measures just larger at 6 5/8 x 9 5/8 inches. Artwork is signed at right bottom. Artwork is sold unframed.
