bread of life and cup of life diptych
Completed spring 2017, the artworks hang left and right of a large bay window in the dining room of the owner. Rich in color and in symbolic imagery, they speak of life, hope, and promises fulfilled and yet to come.
In the studio, the satin silk artworks are completed and "curing." Next their colors will be made permanent by steam-setting, then wash and hemmed with top sleeve for hanging.
The colors harmonize with architectural elements of natural oak and the woodland green wall on which they are displayed.
